On a more personal note….I posted a few weeks back about my daughter’s Odyssey of the Mind team qualifying to go to World Finals. I haven’t been designing the last few weeks because I’ve been totally focussed on trying to raise the money for the team to be able to compete. The good news is, we did it. We raised enough for them to pay their entry fee. The bad news is that we cannot afford to make the trip to Iowa with her. So, a dear friend of mine, who’s daughter is on Casey’s team has graciously offered to let Casey go up with her so she can compete with the rest of the team. I’m a little disappointed that I can’t go with her, but at the same time, I’m excited for her and can’t wait for her to experience this. Anyway…now that all the work for that is over (they leave on Thursday) I can get back into the groove and hopefully have a new kit ready for you guys in the next week or so. Thanks for your patience and for hanging in there with me!
